Google Image Search feature, typically used by internet users
to search for some images needed. Did you know that a quick image search
feature was born thanks to Jennifer Lopez?
In a post late on a blog for Project Syndicate, Executive
Chairman of Google Eric Schmidt said that Google Images was created as J. Lo (Jennifer
Lopez's nickname) and green Versace dress she wore to the Grammy Awards 2000
event.
"Jennifer Lopez wearing a green dress, and it attracted
the attention of the world," wrote Schmidt, as quoted from the Huffington
Post, Saturday (04/11/2015).
"At that time, the picture is the most popular search
queries we've ever seen. But we had no surefire way to fulfill what users want:
J. Lo wearing a dress. From there, Google Image Search was born," he
continued.
